Moira
Art installation, ZSP Tarnów, 2020

The Greek Moirae (Μοῖραι) symbolised philosophical and mythological notions about human destiny and the order of the world. The impersonal Moirae were as inexorable as destiny. The art installation entitled Moira in the gym of the Secondary School of Fine Arts (ZSP) in Tarnów presents works created in 2017-2018. It is a kind of self-notation, a sketch of an imaginary reality that originates in repeated events, a search for their inner meaning. In other aspects, the work refers to the symbolism and meanings of plants, such as ash or carnations - which I have used to create several artworks. The exhibition space, compiled in darkness, tried to reflect the question of the limits of randomness and destiny, which accompanied me during the creation of the project.
