Self-portrait is a work created in the Performance Art Studio at the Faculty of Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. My artwork took the form of video performace. The damp surface of the shower glaze also became the medium of the work, on which I shaped the form of my silhouette shadow using my hair. As in my earlier work Klombik, here too I reache back to my childhood memories, hence memory is also a kind of medium with which I try to actively cooperate in the course of my artistic activities. This time, an image of an intimate childhood play was evoked, moments of carefree bathing, which I embellished by decorating the surface of the bathtub with various patterns and hair drawings.
